Meet the Fisher Foley Team

Aaron Foley
BA (Wellington), LLB (Auckland)
Principal
Aaron founded Fisher Foley in 2021, having previously practised in general litigation, property and commercial law with prominent firms across the greater Auckland area. Prior to commencing legal practise, Aaron had an extensive commercial career in fast-moving-consumer-goods in category, project and general management and worked for a number of large national retail and wholesale businesses.
Aaron has a BA from Victoria University and completed his law degree at the University of Auckland. Aaron is a Barrister and Solicitor who holds a practising certificate in New Zealand.

David Fisher
LLB (Auckland)
Solicitor (Immigration Law Specialist)
David began his legal career working for specialist immigration law firms, and he also became licensed under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act. In 2017, David founded the New Zealand Immigration Chambers, which now has offices in both New Zealand and Australia. Having worked on all manner of immigration matters, ranging from simple applications through to complex legal solutions, David leads our specialist legal team as a solicitor.
David has an LLB from the University of Auckland.

Ana Martins

Senior Associate (Foreign Qualified)
Ana is a Senior Associate and the head of the Immigration Team at Fisher Foley. She is qualified with a law degree from Brazil and has over 13 years of experience in the legal industry. Prior to moving to New Zealand, Ana worked for several leading law firms as a tax litigation lawyer. She has extensive experience in litigation and has argued a large number of complex cases and appeals in Brazil.
After moving to New Zealand in 2017, Ana headed the Litigation Support team at a large Auckland law firm performing discovery and evidence assessment in civil and criminal cases. She also worked for a boutique firm where she was part of one of the largest civil cases before the High Court in New Zealand.
Ana's legal experience and her strategic thinking enable her to prepare compelling arguments and submissions in a wide variety of cases. She is very passionate about immigration law and as a migrant herself, she is committed to assisting other clients to the best of her ability.
Ana also holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Taxation from Brazil and has a Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology.
Ana speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Fangfang (Sophie) Shen

Legal Advisor
Sophie has been a licensed Chinese Lawyer for over twenty years and an Arbitrator of Suzhou Arbitration Commission for over ten years. She is also a Legal Counsel of Jiangsu International Commercial Legal Service Center and a Mediator of Suzhou International Commercial Tribunal (SICT), etc., mainly specializing in international law and international trade dispute remedies.
Sophie has been working in the Immigration industry in New Zealand since August 2023, developing the knowledge and skills in communicating with clients, preparing documents for clients, etc.
Sophie speaks English and Mandarin.
She has a LLM degree of International Business Law in University of Wales UK and a LLB degree of Law in University of Suzhou China. She, as selected attorneys, attended a two-month Training Course of Chinese Senior Attorneys in in the USA respectively in the year of 2008 and 2016, on topics of international trade dispute remedies, mainly including anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and 337 practice.
With her international link, she can help the clients with all kinds of international legal matters in China, New Zealand, and other countries.

Amish Sadaria

Practice Manager
Amish holds a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) Degree and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing & Finance from India.
Amish has extensive experience in sales of financial products in India, NZ immigration industry and business management. Before joining Fisher Foley LTD, he was an Office Manager for an immigration adviser firm for more than 8 years.
Having a migrant background himself, Amish has a keen interest in cultural differences and particularly enjoys working with all different people from all over the world. He is the first line of contact providing general support for many of our clients, and is also helping with the maintenance of our IT system.

Hayan Lee
Office Administrator
Hayan provides valuable support to our advisers by handling administrative tasks and assisting with daily operations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from South Korea and moved to New Zealand in 2017 to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Since joining the team in 2019, Hayan has gradually developed a strong interest in becoming a Licensed Immigration Adviser. She is now working toward this goal, aiming to use her knowledge and experience to help clients navigate their immigration journey.
She speaks Korean and English.

Olivia Kuswandi
Marketing Specialist
Olivia is a Marketing Specialist at Immigration Chambers with a keen aptitude for identifying business opportunities through strategic collaboration and a deep commitment to advocating for products and services she believes can significantly enhance people’s lives.
Prior to relocating to New Zealand as an international student, Olivia served as an international education consultant in Bali, Indonesia. Her extensive knowledge of the advantages and challenges associated with studying in Anglosphere countries (including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, and the USA) guided her decision to pursue her own study abroad journey in New Zealand in 2022.
Her enthusiasm for international education and immigration inspired her to pursue a Master of Business Administration (Marketing) in New Zealand. She now leverages her expertise as a Marketing Specialist for Fisher Foley and Immigration Chambers brand.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Olivia values serene moments at home, where she indulges in reading, exploring new subjects through YouTube, and enjoying Korean dramas.
Fluent in both English and Indonesian, Olivia brings a global perspective to her work and personal interests.
